Circus School Brad is 12 years old and he goes to a special school. It?s a circus school. In the morning the pupils study school subjects like maths and literature. They study science in the science lab and they learn about art in the art room. In addition, they study music, geography, history and French. Brad?s favourite subject is science. He thinks it is very interesting. In the afternoon the pupils learn how to perform in the circus. They learn how to be clowns and acrobats. They learn how to hold onto swings with one hand or one leg. They put paint on their faces to look happy or sad and wear special costumes. They jump on trampolines. They ride circus horses and elephants. These lessons are often more difficult than the lessons in the morning, but they are very exciting! Today the pupils are having a test. Brad is riding a bicycle with one big wheel. He is holding a lot of balloons in one hand and a little monkey is sitting on his head. He is trying not to fall and he looks funny. The other pupils and the teacher are clapping and laughing. |
